It’s already too late when:
- Anyone says, "We need to talk."
- You start thinking up excuses before you even do what you need the excuse for.
- It's the first snowfall.
- You HAVE TO find a job.
- The online shit storm has started about your brand, and it’s been 7 months since you last tweeted from the company account.
- Somebody says, "I want to pick your brain."
- One door closed, and another one opened, and then it subsequently closed too because of your inaction.
- You have to ask for something a third time.
- The fat lady is warming up to sing.
- You’ve already broken into a sweat.
- You’ve said everything YOU need to say.
- Whatever it is, it is already on TV.
- You hear, “This has never happened before.”
- You hear, “This will never happen again.”
- You’re tired of your own voice (or face or writing).
- Somebody is already tweeting OH tweets about your great idea.
- You can’t stay awake any longer.
- It’s easy for you to quickly name three regrets.
- The headache has already started.
- Your partner laughs (or doesn’t laugh) at completely the wrong time.
- Your new boss’ high school nickname was “Wrong Way.”
- It’s impossible to remember why something was important in the first place.
- They’ve already started digging.
- You write a blog post about how you'll convince your fans you're still a humble person when you get really famous online.
- Someone you can’t really trust tells you it ISN'T too late. - Mike Brown
